Senior IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with exceptional leadership and management capabilities:
1. Expertise in overseeing large-scale and intricate IT infrastructure initiatives (including wired and wireless networks, telecommunication systems, audio/visual setups, cabling frameworks, and cellular networks), ideally within new construction projects or renovations, while navigating a dynamic environment with various stakeholders.
2. Ability to maintain a comprehensive perspective, proactively guide and mentor the project team, enhance operational processes, manage project finances, recognize when to escalate challenges and/or mitigate risks, and consistently deliver valuable project meeting summaries and documentation to advance the project.
3. Adherence to best practices in project management, along with the capability to provide updates to senior leadership.
● Proven track record in project management, demonstrating proficiency in integration, scope, time management, cost control, quality assurance, human resources, communication, risk assessment, and procurement.
● Strong familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies is highly preferred.
● In-depth knowledge of project management tools and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is strongly desired.
● Solid experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), Smartsheet, ServiceNow Project Portfolio Manager (PPM), Zoom, and Slack is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of experience managing projects of significant size and complexity with moderate performance risk, encompassing project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Certifications and Licenses
● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or completion of a Project Management Certificate program, or certification in progress.
● Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or completion in progress is preferred.
● ITIL Certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements*
● Regularly sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and engage in light/fine manipulation, as well as lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
● Occasionally stand/walk, and write by hand.
● Rarely use a telephone, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulder height, and grasp forcefully.
Working Conditions
● Potential exposure to extreme temperatures, high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise levels exceeding 80dB TWA, allergens, biohazards, chemicals, asbestos, or heavy metals, and work at heights greater than 10 feet.
● Local and cross-university travel may be required.
● Attendance at meetings on various campuses may be necessary.
