Our company offers a wide range of maintenance and turnaround services, including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, hydro excavation, chemical cleaning, PEPTM polymer extraction service, vacuum services, tank cleaning, degassing/vapor control, FCC catalyst handling and transportation, and specialty turnaround services.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Maintain adherence to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
- Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
- Clean, install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other external and internal equipment.
- Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, including servicing, greasing, etc.
- Clean company equipment – pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year's experience behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler.
- A valid Class A or B CDL is required.
- Tanker Endorsement is also required.
- No restrictions on auto insurance.
- Must be able to legally drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- A valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one is necessary.
- Possess a clean personal background screen.
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background screen.
- Familiarity with FMCSA 70-hour rule.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to respond to emergency calls 24/7 as needed.
- Will perform all required duties in accordance with training.
- Comply with standard operating procedures.
