Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique requirements.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff members to ensure alignment with students' educational goals.
- Meticulously monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and insights to contribute to the development of comprehensive support plans.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Indiana state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive and supportive environment.
