Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities related to specific clinical trials, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Patient Identification and Education: Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other staff to identify eligible patients and provide education on clinical trials, ensuring informed consent and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Institutional Review Board (IRB) and regulatory agency requirements, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot issues with support areas and ensure compliance with research protocols, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, researchers, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing role or relevant patient-facing clinical research experience.
  • Certifications: Current PA RN License, CPR certification, and Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
  • Skills: Strong communication and project management skills, with experience working with Windows-based computer programs.
