Key Responsibilities- Traffic Management: Direct and manage vehicle flow through construction zones or roadwork areas using flags, signs, and handheld communication devices.
- Safety Enforcement: Enforce safety standards and ensure that all vehicles and pedestrians adhere to traffic control signals.
- Traffic Monitoring: Observe traffic behavior and report any hazards or potential safety issues to the supervisor or site manager.
- Previous Experience: Previous traffic flagging or construction site experience is required.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal communication skills; ability to give clear and concise instructions.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000, based on experience and location.
