About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an SLP, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families.
  • Provide education, resources, and support to families to foster their child's speech and language development, promoting a seamless experience from diagnosis through therapy.
  • Evaluate and document the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona or Colorado.
  • Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career.
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children, embodying a playful spirit.
