Job Details

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction procedures and project management principles, as well as experience with OSHA regulations and quality and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from authorities
  • Determine required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, and manage budgets
  • Plan and schedule construction operations to meet deadlines
  • Acquire equipment and materials, and monitor inventory levels
  • Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities
  • Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other staff, and provide guidance as needed
  • Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report any issues

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and quality and health and safety standards
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
