As a regional truck driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries in 53' Dry Van Trailers and running solo after training. Our ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and a strong work history.
Job Details
- Our running lane is the 11 Western Regional, covering a vast territory.
- As a regional truck driver, you will be handling 100% No Touch dry van freight, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery process.
- Drop N Hook and live load/unloads are part of your daily routine, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Our training program is designed to help you develop the skills you need to succeed in this role, with a 4-6 week training period with a trainer OTR if under 6 months experience.
- Enjoy bi-weekly home time with at least a 34-hour reset, allowing you to recharge and spend time with loved ones.
- Orientation will take place in Jurupa Valley, CA, and you must be willing to drive during the day or night.
- Average miles per week are 1800-2000, providing a stable and predictable schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
- Trainees are paid $650/week until their training weeks are met, with a competitive pay scale after training.
- Experienced drivers can earn up to .71 a mile, depending on years of experience, with a sliding pay scale.
- A monthly safety bonus of up to .06 per mile is available, rewarding safe driving practices.
- Full benefits, including medical, dental, 401K, and PTO, kick in after 30 days of employment.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
- Must have attended and graduated from an accredited truck driving school with 120+ hours.
- A strong work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training is required.
- No DUI's, felonies, or misdemeanors in the last 5 years are allowed.
- A solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training is required.
- Able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
