Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will act as the key support for all operational requirements. This role primarily involves functioning as the main cashier and customer service liaison. Responsibilities include preparing and assisting with training to ensure safety in film processing and maintaining cleanliness in all areas including training spaces, darkrooms, restrooms, lounge, and retail sections. The representative will also aid customers with their film processing and printing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address customer inquiries and escalate issues to management as needed.

• Provide comprehensive information regarding company offerings.

• Engage with customers both in-person and via telephone.

• Process orders, calculate costs, and handle transactions.

• Assess customer satisfaction and report findings.

• Direct customers to management when necessary.

• Replenish film development chemicals before each session.

• Monitor chemical temperatures to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Adhere to film development safety protocols.

• Provide customers with drinking glasses for their use.

• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.

• Prepare chemical containers throughout the shift and ensure completion of the training area and darkroom preparation checklist.

• Complete cleaning tasks at the start and end of each shift.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with inventory management processes.

• Practical experience with various popular POS systems.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage complaints effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to providing exceptional service.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing role.
Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
