Outdoor Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Sprout Works Llc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, watering, raking, sod laying, and other property maintenance tasks with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.
You will be a hard-working, team-oriented individual who is dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred, and a positive attitude is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes, to perform tasks such as pruning, trimming, and clearing vegetation.
- Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws, to perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, and clearing vegetation.
- Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans, to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
- Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws, to maintain the health and appearance of our properties.
- Gather and remove litter, debris, and other obstacles from our properties to ensure that they are safe and visually appealing.
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper is preferred.
- Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools is required.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Willing to work in all weather elements, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow.
