Job Description:
This janitorial team member position requires a person with a disability who is willing to work under the supervision of the Custodial Supervisor. The successful candidate will perform those cleaning tasks necessary to meet custodial contract specifications. This includes sweeping, mopping, emptying wastebaskets, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning glass and windows, vacuuming rugs, mixing cleaning solutions, and maintaining issued equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Ensuring a clean and safe workspace for staff and visitors
  • Meeting custodial contract specifications
  • Providing excellent customer service

Working Environment:
The working environment for this role will be a fast-paced office setting with a focus on cleanliness and organization. The applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Regular communication with supervisors and co-workers is required. Reasonable accommodations for physical requirements will be considered.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have three (3) to six (6) months training or experience working as a janitor preferred, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions. You must also be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts. The ideal candidate should hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity.

Estimated Salary Range: $28,000 - $33,000 per year.
