Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill, pack, and seal products in accordance with process and quality standards.
  • Ensure that product specifications are being achieved.
  • Notify the Lead Team Member or Maintenance Technician of any problems or issues.
  • Clean and maintain the production area and equipment.
  • Label, stack, and wrap boxes of finished production on pallets for shipping.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow written tasks.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to stand and/or exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to two hours.
  • Understanding of weights and measurements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Hand coordination for rapid production.
  • Ability to use knives and production equipment responsibly.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to deal with sudden changes in scheduling.

Working Conditions

The Production Team Member will work in a food manufacturing environment, exposed to typical elements, including flour dust, moderate noise, and some temperature extremes. The position requires frequent factory visits and exposure to various food products.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on feet for several hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 10-50 pounds.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
