About the Position

We are seeking an exceptional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Viticus Group. As a critical member of our veterinary care team, you will provide high-quality care to animals, working collaboratively with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with various medical procedures, including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, and euthanasia.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients on animal health and preventative care practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and stock medical supplies.
  • Perform tasks such as venepuncture, catheter placement, induction and monitoring of anesthesia, radiography, and lab/event support as needed.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a veterinarian.

Requirements:

  • Certified Licensed Veterinary Technician (CLVT) or equivalent.
  • Experience in animal care and handling.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook.
  • Judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
