Job Title: OB CRNA

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB CRNA to join our community OB Anesthesiology practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will administer and monitor regional anesthesia and general anesthesia to OB patients at Froedtert West Bend Hospital under the supervision of Staff Anesthesiologists of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor regional anesthesia and general anesthesia to OB patients
  • Prepare for and place all required peripheral lines in patients prior to anesthesia
  • Perform pre-admission testing interviews on patients prior to day or surgery
  • Keep accurate and complete anesthetic records for each patient
  • Monitor annual CME requirements and attend continuing education seminars
Requirements:
  • CRNA from an accredited institution with board certification in Anesthesiology
  • Wisconsin licensure (or eligible for)
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing is required
  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Anesthetist school is required
  • Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing is required
  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Anesthetist school is required
