The role of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is essential in providing fundamental care to patients throughout their stay. This position requires an active CNA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering basic nursing care to patients from admission to discharge.
- Perform non-nursing tasks, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient rooms.
- Handle clerical duties as assigned, such as answering phone calls and relaying messages.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Georgia or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
While up to one year of related experience is preferred, candidates with more extensive backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
Working ConditionsThis position may involve exposure to various physical demands, including:
- Frequent lifting and transferring of patients.
- Occasional sedentary tasks, such as computer work.
