Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine students' needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to each student's specific goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs and integrate strategies into the classroom.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Professional Development: Participate in school meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for students' communication needs and ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are in place.
Qualifications
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, but CFYs welcome to apply.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and best practices in speech-language therapy.
