Position: Warehouse Worker / Machine Operator
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Location: LaPorte, IN
Compensation: $22.00/hour – varies by shift, experience, and role
Shift Availability:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Must be flexible to work all shifts and potential overtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in forklift operation or remote overhead crane usage
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts and remote overhead cranes efficiently
- Manage cut-to-length lines and slitters, ensuring accurate measurements are inputted into the system
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload products from machinery
- Prepare and package finished goods for distribution
- Conduct data entry and report any shortages to supervisors
- Construct skids and pallets as needed
- Verify packing lists prior to final shipments to ensure accuracy
