Food Service Opportunity

Nutrition attendants play a vital role in the healthcare industry, providing patients with essential nourishment and support. Cayuga Health System seeks qualified candidates to join our team as food service professionals.

The primary responsibilities of this position include assembling patient meals, ensuring proper portion control, and being aware of potential allergens. Additionally, attendants will be responsible for using a dish machine to properly wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other staff members to provide exceptional food and service to patients, visitors, and employees while meeting all regulatory requirements. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this may be an ideal opportunity for you.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in food service or nutrition is preferred. However, training and certification opportunities are available to help you grow professionally in this field.
