Position Overview
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting production from a technical perspective, possessing a thorough understanding of the products being manufactured.
This position serves as the primary resource for Operations Specialists concerning production-related challenges and collaborates with engineering teams on new product and process implementations. You will tackle complex manufacturing issues and work alongside team members to enhance processes and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develop new production cells, optimize workflow, enhance speed, and minimize waste.
- Lead regular 5S events.
- Collaborate with engineering teams.
- Resolve production challenges and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements for new product launches and existing manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
Automation Functions:
- In-depth knowledge of automated or semi-automated manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proven ability to access programming controls to create and modify logic code to solve issues, boost efficiency, or reduce waste.
Machining Functions:
- Strong experience in developing manufacturing processes and/or designing and implementing CNC programming.
- Proficient in interpreting specifications and participating in hardware disposition.
This position requires compliance with regulations governing international traffic in arms and export administration. All applicants must meet the criteria of a U.S. Person as defined by these regulations.
