Cytotechnologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the laboratory, responsible for screening and evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens for possible malignant or related abnormal conditions.

• Screen and evaluate specimens using liquid-based cytology and conventional slides
• Perform microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens following laboratory procedures and workload policies
• Assist with Fine Needle Aspirations and ensure proper documentation of workload recording
• Meet slide screening requirements and finalize testing results in a timely manner
• Provide backup for cytology processing and other tasks as needed

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university
• Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification is required
• Prior experience working in Cytology is preferred
• ThinPrep certification required
• SurePath certification is a plus
