VFX Artist

We're seeking a skilled artist to help expand the Destiny universe through stunning visual effects.

The ideal candidate brings a passion to learn advanced technical and artistic skills, and understands how to work with a team to produce high-quality in-game visual effects that support gameplay and the player experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the VFX Rewards Lead to create effect assets that enhance gameplay and storytelling
• Use proprietary tools, DCC, and Photoshop to create effects that balance visual goals with performance demands
• Help develop Destiny's visual language through the craft of visual effects
• Build productive working relationships with your team

Requirements:

• Experience working as a VFX Artist on a shipped game title or equivalent
• A portfolio or demo reel that demonstrates artistic and technical skills in real-time VFX
• Experience with node-based shaders for real-time VFX
• Familiarity with Photoshop and 3D packages
• A dedicated interest in games

Nice-to-have skills:

• Technically proficient, able to identify and collaborate on pipeline innovations
• Programming or scripting experience in any language
• Animation background

Bungie offers a competitive salary range of $78,000-$101,000 USD, as well as comprehensive benefits, including 20 days of accrued time-off, 10 paid Floating Days, and 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays.
