Job Overview

SunVena is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our residential and small commercial solar installation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of our installations, while also leading and motivating our branch operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with SunVena and OSHA standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and customers.
  • Oversee and participate in daily and weekly meetings for departmental and interdepartmental coordination, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage labor costs to ensure they are consistent with SunVena targets, identifying and implementing strategies to address any overruns.
  • Coordinate with the Safety and Fleet Manager to ensure proper training and compliance with safety laws.
  • Directly oversee critical projects and supervise large installation sites as necessary, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Review and investigate all accident/incident reports, implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Ensure proper planning and coordination of all solar operations, conforming to codes, plans, solar industry standards, manufacturer's instructions, and SunVena Power guidelines.
  • Monitor work to ensure projects conform to plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets, evaluating for quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain records of all calls, e-mails, conversations, and other forms of communication relating to projects.
  • Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of projects, working closely with the design team to implement changes.
  • Assess potential installation sites to determine feasibility, project needs, and design requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of the installation process, communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Manage inventory effectively, forecasting future material needs and tracking consumables and parts used by team members.
  • Conduct safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with SunVena and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with code changes and requirements, meeting with AHJs and inspectors to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all team members receive proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position.
  • Work closely with the Director of Install to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, adhering to state regulations, industry standards, safety protocols, production targets, and quality standards.
