Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Verify patient demographic information and initials to ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
  • Perform departmental-related clerical duties, including data entry and inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest phlebotomy techniques and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • BLS certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
