Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces and carpets in various areas of our facilities, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and dining rooms.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces and carpets through dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
- Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs to supervisors in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
