About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Technician II, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all levels of vehicle equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other major components
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle maintenance technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting of major components
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
