POSITION: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Our Warehouse Associates operate under the guidance of the Branch Manager and are tasked with managing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of forklifts and various material handling responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely maneuver the forklift to systematically store materials in the warehouse and retrieve items as required for loading into customer and branch vehicles.
  • Receive shipments from suppliers, verify quantities for accuracy, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Assist in conducting inventory checks quarterly or as needed.
  • Maintain the warehouse, yard, and vehicles in a clean and organized manner, performing minor repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure the safe handling of materials while adhering to company safety protocols at all times, including the use of back braces, gloves, safety shoes, and other protective equipment as appropriate.
  • Assist customers with material inquiries, report delivery issues, and address service concerns.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds of materials consistently.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
