Bulk Assembler Job DescriptionWhitmore is seeking a skilled Bulk Assembler to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building sub-assemblies and finished goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Build sub-assemblies and finished goods per batch tickets
- Organize and prepare raw materials, sub-assemblies, parts, tools, supplies, etc.
- Assist with inventory control
- Cross-trained in running and processing production batch tickets and establishing schedules per incoming orders
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience working with shipping orders, basic hand tools, and hand equipment
- Strong mechanical skills
- Mechanical or electrical skills
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings for assembled parts
- Good time management skills and ability to meet scheduled deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
- Organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly stand, bend, lift, and carry
- Basic computer skills needed to learn company systems
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desired
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
