Job Description and Duties

The Department of FISCal is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist III to serve as a Senior Information Security Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for maturing the cyber security program, providing expert technical and analytical leadership, and planning, developing, and implementing security solutions to protect FISCal's infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update security policies and procedures
  • Assess security controls and develop remediation steps
  • Assess cyber security risks and recommend remediation options
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate communication and improve the work environment
Working Conditions:

The position requires the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and may require excess hours to be worked. The incumbent should be available to travel as needed and is expected to perform functions and duties under the guidance of the Department of FISCal's core values.

Requirements:
  • Background Investigation clearance prior to being hired
  • Ability to work in a remote-centered position with flexibility to telework for three or more days per week
  • Relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee
