Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at The Laurels of Kettering. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with food preparation, presentation, and serving.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, snacks, and beverages for residents, following established recipes and food safety guidelines.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Handle and store food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
  • Tray Line Setup and Delivery: Assist with the setup of the food tray line and deliver tray carts to dining areas or units.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures, and assist in the dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting preferred.
