Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role is dedicated to conducting specialized imaging examinations of the breast, essential for the identification and management of breast-related health issues.

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating mammographic imaging equipment and other related devices as necessary.

Exhibits proficiency in advanced breast imaging techniques, including stereotactic and MRI biopsies, while maintaining competence in sterile protocols.

Delivers intricate technical care tailored to meet the specific needs of patients.



Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a program accredited by the AMA in Radiologic Technology.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist is preferred.


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Must hold a Registered Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) from ARRT.


ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

Current BLS certification is required.
