About the Role

CAMBA is seeking a highly skilled MICA Specialist to join our team at the Broadway House Women's Shelter in Bushwick. As a MICA Specialist, you will play a critical role in formulating plans and preparing clients for permanent housing placement, engaging individuals requiring social service assistance, and locating and referring to appropriate community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Provide case management services to clients, including assessment, planning, and coordination of services
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide referrals and support services to clients
  • Conduct regular home visits and assessments to monitor client progress and provide support

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in social services, preferably in a homeless services setting
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
