Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Paraprofessional to join our team of support staff. As a Special Education Assistant, you will work closely with students who require instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with IEP objectives, including math, reading, speech, and independent skills, in one-on-one or group settings.

• Facilitate teacher-directed learning activities, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and reinforcement systems.

• Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff members to ensure student needs are met.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant professional standards of practice.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in special education or related field preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
