We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Research Scientist to lead our Immunology Research Team at Innovent Biologics. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of immunology researchers to drive cutting-edge discovery and development of innovative pipeline projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive research strategy to identify and validate novel targets for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
- Lead and manage a team of immunology researchers to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments to support pipeline development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain productive research partnerships with external organizations.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals, budgets, and reports to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in immunology and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our research programs.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Immunology or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Proven track record of leading successful early-stage drug discovery programs from target identification to IND-enabling studies.
- Deep understanding of immunology, particularly in the context of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
- Strong scientific acumen, with a proven ability to design and interpret complex experiments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues across disciplines and at all levels of the organization.
- Experience of managing cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence.
- Strong track record of intellectual property generation, including patent filings and peer-reviewed publications.
