The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university and licensure in good standing to practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physical examinations and medical procedures with the highest quality care, minimizing patient stress. They will also communicate examination findings, diagnose, and present treatment plans to clients, educate clients on preventive health care, and maintain accurate medical/surgical records. Additionally, the candidate will stay updated with new medical information and complete at least 30 hours of accredited Continuing Education (CE) per year.
