Neonatologist - NCH Location

We are seeking an exceptional Neonatologist to join our team at Northwest Community Hospital. As a Neonatologist, you will provide in-house coverage in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, working an average of 1 week per month (Monday through Friday) during the day shift, with additional overnight weekday shifts and weekend shifts to total 1944 hours per year.

• Providing care for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Rounding on unassigned newborns and hyperbilirubinemia infants
• Attending deliveries as needed
• Evaluating and managing infants in the normal newborn nursery as needed
• Providing teaching to physician assistant and nurse practitioner students and other learners while on call
• Attending the developmental follow-up clinic once per month

• Completed an accredited neonatology fellowship
• Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Illinois Medical License or License Pending
