About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our students and passengers. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, using your diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues and complete work orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues
  • Assist with mobile emergency services as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
  • A mechanic's tool set
  • A passion for safety and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
