Mutual of Omaha is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Financial Representative Trainees. As a member of our Accelerator Program, you will embark on an immersive journey to develop the skills and expertise necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products and building a sustainable financial practice.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $36,000 per year, plus unlimited monthly sales incentives. Additionally, you will receive a $1,000 bonus upon successful completion of the trainee period and promotion to a Financial Representative. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match, up to 15 days of vacation per year, and 11 paid holidays.


Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive program to develop your skills in providing holistic financial advice to clients. You will actively contribute to classroom discussion, participate in goal setting sessions, and progress evaluation meetings. You will also gain valuable direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products to clients and pass a sales process competency test.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly self-motivated and results-oriented, and be able to travel up to 50% of the time. You should also have access to reliable transportation for meetings and appointments. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred but not required. You will also need to obtain the required insurance licenses prior to starting the job and pass the CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing.
