About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Optometrist to join our team in Appleton, WI. As a key member of our optical practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing excellent customer service.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry degree and a strong commitment to quality patient care. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all patients receive the highest level of optometric care and that our practice is maintained at the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with eye disorders or diseases
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice optometry in the state of Wisconsin
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
