Volunteer Opportunity: VITA Tax Preparation

South Bay Community Services Chula Vista is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in helping low-income individuals and families access free tax preparation services.

Program Overview

Our VITA program provides free tax preparation services to eligible individuals and families. Volunteers work together to ensure that clients receive accurate and timely tax refunds, which can be used to support their basic needs and improve their financial stability.

Volunteer Responsibilities

As a VITA volunteer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with tax preparation and filing
  • Providing accurate and timely tax refunds
  • Working collaboratively with other volunteers to achieve program goals
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements

To be eligible for this volunteer opportunity, you must:

Physical Demands
