Childcare Professional

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to oversee the daily care of children at our daycare center.
• This role requires experience working with children and the ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes their development.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to basic needs, such as diapering or potty training, and assisting with meal preparation.
• A key aspect of this position is teaching children about hygiene and cleanliness by being a positive role model.
• Additionally, light cleaning of the daycare is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
• Create engaging activities that promote learning and development
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
• Perform administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and reporting

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children, preferably in a lead capacity
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (an asset)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical ability to perform duties related to childcare

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience
