About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to join our team at Williamson Health. As a registered nurse on our Perinatal Healthcare Delivery team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecological nursing care to patients from all walks of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on patients within the appropriate time of admission, utilizing skills of observation, communication, and examination.">
  • Plan patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes.">
  • Function independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to areas, adhering to policy, procedure, and competency-based assessment.">
  • Handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.">
  • Document accurately and timely, reassess patient condition, evaluate patient response, and modify plan of care accordingly and in a timely manner.">
  • Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirement, acuity, and complexity of patient's condition.">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you should possess a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university, be licensed by the State of Tennessee, and have at least one year of perinatal experience. Additionally, certification as a lactation consultant is preferred, as well as NRP and ACLS certification within six months of hire.

We offer a competitive salary of $ $84,500 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, discount programs, FSA, identity theft protection, and legal aid.
