The CT Technologist is a vital member of our radiology team at St. David's Medical Center, responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Position patients accurately and safely to ensure optimal image quality.
- Follow established scanning and viewing protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient scans and procedures.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required upon hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting, with a preference for experience in CT procedures.
