- Shift: 2:30pm to 11pm - Compensation: $23.50 per hour
We are in search of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to deliver exceptional care and physical assistance to patients and residents. Ideal candidates will possess a state-certified nursing assistant credential along with a nursing degree from an accredited CNA program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality patient care.
- Responding to patient inquiries and assessing their needs.
- Assisting patients or residents with daily living activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercise.
- Repositioning patients who are bedridden.
- Ensuring dietary needs are met by understanding patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Gathering comprehensive information from healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Monitoring and documenting food and fluid intake.
- Tracking urinary and fecal output and reporting any changes to medical staff.
- Recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Conducting examinations to identify any medical issues.
- Reminding patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements.
- Documenting observations related to patient behavior and physical symptoms for nursing staff.
- Staying informed on CNA training and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting such as a hospital or care facility.
- Valid State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Nursing degree from an accredited CNA program.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Current identification and high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Exemplary personal hygiene standards.
