Job Title: Electrical Specialist - Commercial and Residential

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to join our team at United Electric. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to work on a variety of commercial and residential electrical projects.

About the Company

United Electric is a fully licensed and insured contracting company specializing in custom, new, and remodel commercial and residential electrical work. We have been serving Ventura, Santa Barbara, and select areas of Los Angeles Counties since 1979.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This position requires a skilled electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in residential and commercial electrical work. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading and adhering to project plans, document changes and change orders, troubleshooting, panel/Gear installation and upgrades, installing all sizes of EMT, PVC, IMC, Rigid, Ocal conduit, local and national electrical codes, and be self-motivated, a team player, and possess good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs.
  • Install and upgrade electrical panels and gear.
  • Work from ladders, lifts, and booms.
  • Lift 50+ pounds and stand, squat or kneel for long periods of time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Certifications as required by local and state regulations.
