About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we're seeking a dedicated Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As an Animal Care Specialist, you will provide compassionate and quality care to animals in need, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive and basic care to patients, including physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment recommendations.
  • Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgical procedures, with individualized training provided by our team.
  • Diagnose and treat post-surgical medical complications, and provide a safe and compassionate environment for animals in our care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, discussing physical examination and test results to allow pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet care.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent).
  • Current New York State veterinary license (new graduates welcome).
  • Fear Free Veterinary certification required within 60 days of hire.
Language
  • English (required).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
