Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine lubrication preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Apply lubricants to moving parts and friction surfaces of mechanical equipment, following specified procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain lubricant inventory levels, communicating shortages to supervisors to prevent stockouts.
  • Adhere to all plant environmental, health, and safety guidelines, policies, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and reliability-based maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment, with a basic understanding of types of lubricants and their applications.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
