A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in enhancing the overall Resident experience at Grand Living at Bridgewater. This position is responsible for providing exceptional daily nursing care and service in accordance with each Resident's personalized care plan.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, eating, grooming, communicating, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility needs.
- Provide care in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner, resulting in high levels of Resident and team member satisfaction.
- Work under the general guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness, adhering to Community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophy.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 1-2 years of experience working with seniors preferred, but not required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant License, required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language to provide assistance with ADLs, observe and provide medication assistance, react and communicate during emergencies, and communicate with other team members, supervisors, residents, and guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
