About the Role

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department, including setting up stations and performing positions.
  • Break down stations completely, ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Perform floor stock procedures and clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures.
  • Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and/or placement for sale.
  • Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions.
Requirements
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or exempt for medical or personal reasons.
