We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Ultrasound section, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that our team is equipped to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and oversight to our Ultrasound team, ensuring that they are equipped to perform at the highest level.
- Patient Care: Work closely with patients to prepare them for procedures, ensuring that they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Procedure Performance: Perform Ultrasound procedures with accuracy and thoroughness, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Education and Training: Collaborate with our education team to develop and implement training programs for our Ultrasound technologists.
- Certifications and Licensures: Ensure that all team members are properly credentialed and licensed, and that they maintain their certifications and licensures as required.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Sonography Program
- Experience: 3 years Medical Imaging - Sonographer Required
- Certifications/Licensures: BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required, RDMS license with subspecialty registries in Abdomen and OB/GYN, RVT license, BR Breast Certification - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, OB/GYN - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership capability, excellent interpersonal, written, oral presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical: Demonstrated HR analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Integrity: Maintains professional and personal integrity.
8 hour shift, 30 minutes to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Range:$108.79 per hour
