Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our Front End team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, easy, and friendly service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers with their purchases, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Unload customers' groceries from carts to belts, ensuring efficient and accurate bagging
- Check carts and under baby seats for items before completing orders
- Follow correct bagging procedures and handle cash, checks, coupons, gift cards, and other forms of payment
- Maintain accurate cash control and follow procedures for refunds and error correction
- Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take their orders to their cars
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end area and MVP savings center
- Report any register malfunctions or cleaning issues to the Customer Service Manager or MOD
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use computers, smart devices, and other communication systems required to perform job functions
- Perform repetitive hand and arm motions
- Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs. continuously, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. on occasion
- Pull or push up to 75 lbs. on occasion
- Stand 100% of the time, frequently walking short distances
